Lisa,
this advice may be outdated, it appears that java script may now be added to Website tonight! This is what customer service at godaddy.com is telling me and others. By the way, i love your site!

I am all with ya on this one Lisa. I think Adsense should be used sparingly and from my experience affiliate revenue is far more lucrative than Adsense anyway.

In any case you don't want to 'cheapen' your site or blog by turning into a roadside billboard. I think subtlety is the key to Adsense as well as monitoring your Adsense clicks and fine tuning your Ads.

Nice post!

John, you don't have to use website tonight. Just sign up for a regular web hosting plan without a website builder attached and you'll be fine. Website Tonight is great because it makes building a site quick and easy but there are some limitations when you are trying to add more complex functionality to your site.

Wow. So I can't use youtube videos or adsense. How would I go about making this work? Are there any other programs like this that would work with website tonight. Like adbrite or some other video hosting site? Thanks again!!

Hi John,

Unfortunately not. Website Tonight does not support javascript so you cannot run any script that is powered by javascript -- including AdSense.

Hey Lisa,

I wrote you earlier about trying to get youtube video on the website tonight account. I was just wondering if I am going to be able to use adsense in my website tonight account through godaddy?
Thanks
