It makes perfect sense if you want to get that target traffics to your website. After all, when a customer go to your website for whatever that you are selling is because they are interested. With that said, why driving your customers away from non-related products? And you know that they landed to your page from a particular keyword search... non sense if you don't know your market. Great Post Here!

Earning from online opportunities can be quite fulfilling.
It feels great when you finally see the money start coming in, but it takes quite a lot of effort to get going.
The key is preverence, never give up!

Great post Lisa, a lot of valuable advice in their.

Thanks, Tony

Congrats Jordy! Isn't that first sale exciting? I still remember mine. It's a very important mileston because it proves that this stuff is real and it works. And if you can make one sale, you can make two, three, four, and so on. Keep up the great work!

I am so excited. I made my first affiliate sale!I just got notice from one of my affiliate companies that I have a $20 commission credited to my account. In relation to this original blog post, I only have $56,980 more to make this month, ha ha. It would take divine intervention for that to happen. The affiliate company is the very best I have seen for offering guitar lessons online. I just put their banner on the front page of my website about one month ago. This is a one time commission sale, I am going to check out Lisa's recommendation for lifetime commissions.

I have spent more time learning about making money with Adsense than affiliate marketing. I think I am ready to step into this affiliate venture a little more. I have generated over 600 clicks with two of my affiliate companies and have zero conversions. I just started building websites a year or so ago and am trying to be open minded and not get discouraged. There is a lot to be learned. I appreciate all of the information that I am finding within Lisa's blog and forum. I have been studying optimization for the past two months. I have had an increase in adsense revenue and sign-ups for a mailing list that I have. Is there a good website that someone could suggest that may help with learning more about how to succeed with affiliate programs. As you can tell I have found the best Adsense videos already and will be updating them regularly. I have so many questions and I need to be careful that I don't get to frustrated and impatient. When I read that someone made $57,000 with affiliate links something inside me says, "yeah right" but I suppose some of these mega sites have millions of pages. I have a total of 2000 and I get about 300 visitors a day between several sites. I think I am going to have to step out of the site builder I am using and learn about how to get pages and content generated effortlessly. I do like the passive income from Adsense. It would be nice to get a hold of some free affiliate videos to watch so I can expand my possibilities more.

Thanks for listening, Jordy

"""It’s like having a digital cameras review blog and having aquarium fish banners on the side, they don’t mix. """

That make me giggle because I can see people doing that.

Totally makes sense! Good information!

You hit it right on the money with another great article. I love residual income as it offers so much more stability and security in your income. Instead of continuing to make new sales and commissions people profit over and over on their past sales and you can continue to build upon that. At least with residual income you will know next month roughly what your check will be. Something I always look for in opportunities.

I love the comment you made about the need to tie in your niche with your site content. So true, if people are looking at improving sales conversions you need to have your ads or affilite links tied into what your whole site is really about. This is something I see all the time that people don't really do. It's like having a digital cameras review blog and having aquarium fish banners on the side, they don't mix. It would be much more beneficial to have digital camera accesories banners on the side as that's the interest of your readers. People like you said, need to target their audience and you will see great things happen.

Sincerely,

Jamie Boyle
