Thanks to everyone who has submitted feedback thus far. It has been invaluable and helped me write my new book, Niche Website Success — which is a guide that teaches you how to build a website and make money with affiliate marketing, AdSense, and more.
Lisa,
Thank you very much for asking. I downloaded your perfect guide to sites and it is wonderful. I’ve been trying so hard to learn what I need in order to start my venture, but with bits and pieces scattered all over, not much really seemed to make sense. To have so much information all in one place and ORGANIZED is helpful beyond words. Now my researching may actually have some direction.
•I NEED YOUR HELP figuring out what kind of site I need (Web Palace? Site Build It?) I am willing to pay.
• My featured content will be the regular (probably YouTube) VIDEOS I plan to make. I guess I’m looking at a video blog (vlog?) in which the most current offering is in the prominent spot, then moves down to the top of an highly visible accessible archive. There’s other stuff I want on there too, of course.
I actually have a very clear picture in my mind of what I’d like the site to look like and do.
•I have my topic and I’m passionate about it.
•Eventually I’d like my site to make money, and I’m willing to work hard to that end, but I won’t even begin to tackle that aspect until I’m solid with my primary goal, which is to produce a quality, working site. In fact, I don’t plan to actually launch anything until have at least 10 videos prepared.
• I have no internet skills, but I’ve begun working hard learning HTML and CSS.
Thank you so much for the help you’ve already given me as well as any you may provide in the future.
Pat

Hi I want to learn from the begining how to make web .Will you help me from the first step?
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your prompt response. I want to start a blog but I am extremely new to this. After finding your links, I got more aspired to do this as a business venture. I don’t have a website yet. I am in the planning stages right now and wanted to know what I need to do in preparation for my blog i.e. have 3-6 months of content already written, how do I advertise, just basically how can I make this business as solid and lucrative as possible. There are other blogs from black male point of view but I want to add a different spin to it. I’ve read your 2createwebsite several times. I understand getting a domain name and finding a web host (I like SBI), what do need to be focused on now? I am not financially ready to purchase SBI yet, so I get me confusion comes in as to the actually layout of SBI will do functionality wise. From my understanding, a blog and a static website is different. I want to blog, but like I read one writer said, it’s like having to keep feeding a hungry beast. Please help me.
Your faithful student,
Wahl Green
Hi Wahl,
SBI! differs from anything else out here because they actually teach you how to write to engage your readers through writing so you build equity. It’s the complete training of system of both site building and marketing.
Once you do that, you will naturally find ways to monetize your site (ad sales, AdSense, selling your own product, etc.) Stay tuned because my free niche book for subscribers will talk about all this.
Lisa,
In preparation for my blog, I understand SBI will help me build my site, so do I need to be writing content in the meantime between?
Hi lisa.
I have no Website
I thnk it is easy undestanding you
I want to learn about blogging and creating a website and other ways to make money on line
It’ s difficult for me to get started.
i hope to hear from you soon and I am sure you can help me even if I live in Italy
Hi Lisa,
There’s nothing to apologize. I love reading your posts. There’s so much to learn from them.
I don’t have a website yet. But I do have a blog using a free blogging platform for practice purposes. I had so many attempts to build a website but got stuck on niche selection and deciding on a domain name.
I plan to create a website using SBI on topics related to personal financial management and investing. I am aware these are broad topics and would gladly appreciate help in settling down to a niche which will earn money enough to pay for a Sitesell subscription. This is my biggest challenge right now. Can you possibly help me out on this? I’ll keep you posted as soon as I have purchased SBI.
Cheers
Hi Lisa,
I’ve been subscribed now for a couple of years and always enjoy your posts. I have gleaned most of my website knowledge from you and 2 Create A Website, a genuine gold nugget amongst the pyrite of today’s internet.
I look forward to your new e-book and just know I will love it as well.
Cheers!

wish you all the best
Hello Lisa
I started a website about 2 months ago, so I am pretty new to this. I found your site by accident when I was researching affiliate marketing, and I thought it was very useful. I enjoy all your video and wealth of information. I’m really interested in actually learning how to make a profitable website. With the holidays here now I haven’t had that much time to devote to it. I guess the biggest challenge is getting traffic to my site. Not really sure if I understand this seo thing fully.
Thanks
Steve
1. I do have two websites. One old and One new.
2. You are an inspiration and informative person on the subject matter. So, had no choice but to subscribe to your newsletter 🙂
3. Going about monetization of my sites.
4. Biggest challenge: Generating income from my websites.
Hi Lisa, me again 🙂
I realize you have become quite popular and extremely busy recently, another excellent reason for your new eBook coming, but I have just a quick question.
As I mentioned earlier, busy with my first Ebook, coming along quite nice on page 30 already, considering I was wondering if I’ll ever be able to write more than 15 pages. I was wondering what your recommendations are regarding using images in an Ebook? I have sections where I have used quite a few, and my personal preference, well, I like it, a lot, but that’s me. I am scared that some readers would feel that they wanted more content instead of good-looking images.
Images do however help with the overall message and the saying “a picture is worth more than a thousand words” might work for some, but does it work in an Ebook?
Hope to hear your thoughts!
Regards,
Allan,
You go there buddy!
I’m 66 and I think Lisa is the best!
Glad you’re making progress with the return to health in other ways.

HI ya Lisa,
1. Yep there’s a beginning of a great site! That is thanks to you and SBI. I followed your utube stuff for a good 2 months trying to figure out if you and SBI were real or scammers. Welp… (Hope you got paid from SBI.) I found out and since I’m an SBI’er and a happy camper I think you know what I learned! 🙂 Thanks for your site and utube videos. I do hope your medical problems have been totally repaired and you are better than new.
2. My subscription to your news letter is an easy answer, I’m computerly challenged big time! You would know if you saw this letter being typed….. hehe back and forth, back and forth, as I get it to where I’m not looking like a pre-schooler doing this………. Um, maybe pre-schooler mite be a bit advanced for me. anyway, I need your expertise.
3. I’m learning and need to be able to write for the people and the search engines too. All with my flair for being a nut. Gotta keep the clients happy and excited. I am looking for help with video. I will be happy to put my mug on the pages of the site to share me with future clients to put them at ease as you did with me with your vids. You see, Lisa, it was your smiling face, great outlook, interesting info, honesty that all came through from you. This is what i need.
4. The Biggest Challenge ay, time would be it. I’m waiting on some legal mumbo jumbo which will be handled by Feb. of 2012. Theeeeeennnnnnn, wooooooo hoooooooo all bets are off! We’re going for broke….better yet, all the marbles! Yea, I like that!
5. Well, now that you can truly see that I’m a nut, lets crack opoen the nut a lil for you. Name is Allan Peters, 61+ yrs. old Viet Nam Vet with secondary progressive MS, married, kids are gone…….YAY……… And bringing myself back to good health mostly without doctors.

Why did you subscribe to my newsletter?
Hi Lisa thank you for your modesty ,kindness and trustworthiness the main thing that made me subscribe to your newsletter is your down to earth attitude.honesty and your ambition to see other people succeed online you are one of the few people whom I trust online.
I wish I had found you before I started creating a website Nevertheless I learned a lot from you I found you through you tube while I was trying to build my sites .
What would you like to learn more about?
I would love to learn more about ADVERTISING ,ADSENSE ,TRAFFIC GENERATION.AND TRAFFIC CONVERSION mind you I just use these terms but I don’t fully comprehend their meaning or duties, LOL
I would appreciate it if you would go through my websites and give me some tips And advise me where you can please.
I know that you are a busy Lady but at least you have gone through the challenging tasks of internet marketing years back as you always say that you started when things were still easy .
What is your biggest challenge right now?
Fear of venturing new things that come through my mind .as well as implementing those that I have learned about e.g ADSESE from you.
However since I have build my sites I have not made any sales through affiliate marketing Do you have any tips for me on how to monetise my websites ?
Thank you for this opportunity .I bought 8 domain names as I was confused and did not know how the internet works are the too many ?
At the moment I intend using 5 and concentrate on 5 websites as I find this very challenging and time consuming it needs a lot of hard work indeed I just wish I could make some money as to get encouraged as I spend sleepless nights I work everyday to keep up with my sites I am an unemployed Mum .
May the good Lord be with you and your Family this christmas and forever more I love your attitude towards your fellow man you so much… MERRY CHRISTMAS!
1.No

I have no website yet, i m just learning about it.
I found you that was my luck. It was so understanding .
It is rally helping me to start my work.
Thank you for all and hope for more i can learn.
Hi Lisa,
I do have a website. I started reading your site because it was easy to understand and made me realize that building a site is hard but possible. I read your site so much I figured I should subscribe to it because I’m on here almost everyday. I would love to learn more about finding my niche. It’s so hard to find something that fits you. So finding my niche would be my biggest challenge right now. I do have a blog which is like a journal for me I just write whats on my mind. But I still don’t think I found my niche I’m having the hardest time with that.
No website, just starting out looking for a change. I came across your youtube video and your info spoke of more value and substance then a lot of the “get rich or informational marketing” videos and programs on internet marketing. My biggest challenge right now is educating myself about the different ways to make money on the internet. It sounds like it will take time to build some kind of a base using several different methods but I’m in it for the long haul.
Hey Lisa,
Thanks for the heads up.
I am looking forward to your new book.
Yours truly, Daniel

1. Yes
2. To learn how to run a online business.
3. Affilate Marketing
4. Getting traffic to my web site. Google’s hard line with adwords.
Really need someone to interact with about many of the issues of running a online business.
Wow this is a great page; just reading the other comments makes me feel good. I am at a stage where I have literally beat myself up (you should see the bruises) trying to find a good niche for a potential SBI site. I tried one site already but it wasn’t a good niche(of course I would figure that out after having made the mistake of registering the domain) Then I found another niche; problem was the title of that niche and its content was too close for comfort to a major social media site which I contacted and was advised it would be best not to use their name. So now I’m back to the “beat up” phase. I know I’m not alone here. But, if you come from a work background where you worked your hiney off, then its possible unless you had some hobby on the side, other than life, you would not know what you’re “passionate” about. It’s getting to the point where the word passion is starting to make me ill. It’s so overused. Then I get feedback that NOT to start a niche where you’ll have to do research, but preferably one where you can write from your heart: Darn It. Now I’m back to the beginning again. I know that no one can advise you on a good niche; but there needs to be some type of ongoing discussion and, at least, pointers on if you’re leaning in the direction of something which can be monetized. For example, there are many types of sites: product and service review, affiliates, tips sites, expert opinion, advice, step by step; now for the confusion: how do I take a niche and know which of these types my searchers are looking for; how do I know what approach to take with them? should I even do a niche if about dot com and all the other heavy hitters are in the top serps for that niche. And what about wikipedia? Darn. Everything you want to know is on wikipedia. So, why would anyone else want to hear my two cents? and how can I spin it? Anyway, that’s my rant for the day. Hoping this post generates something for your new boards in January 2012.
Also, Lisa thanks for acknowledging that you want to be more inclusive of us subscribers. I find if I subscribe to a board and I don’t get regular emails or something, that I forget my password; I forget to go back to the site; the site just gets lost among all the spam in my box. So you are absolutely right about taking care of your subscribers. I have one group of which I’m a member of where the web developers just sends a tip of the day with a link back to the site(a video,a post or new resource). That is a great idea because it keeps me in the loop.
Thanks for everything.
Back to “beat up” time.
Hi Lisa,
First off I’d like to say I LOVE your site!
What I would like to know is the best way to get traffic to my blogs/sites? What are you using to do this? Do you submit your blog to directories? If so, which ones? If not, why not?
The main thing I’m looking to learn is how to make passive income online. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you Lisa and I wish you and your family a fun and safe holiday!
Don
Hello Lisa,
Yes I do have a website, in fact you inspired me to make one about this time last year and I purchased my domain name on your 2CreateAWebSite. Since then I have made some sites for others including creating photo shop images for published books.
I subscribed to your newsletter to learn as much as I could from you because you have made yourself successful with the web. You also made comment that this would not be easy or quick, but with some hard work you can be successful. I appreciate your honesty.
I have learned everything about building websites on line and have become pretty good at it, thank you again for all of your advice. The biggest challenge is SEO and getting traffic to my site. Also, if you have any suggestion on how to improve my site http://eathealthybuildsexymuscle.com it would be much appreciated.
Thanks again Lisa,
Waco Merchant
Hi Lisa,
I made a site for a French friend who sells pennants, following your advice on your site and by watching your videos, but it is not referenced and I think it is not so good, I don`t know what to do next. If you have time, perhaps you will have a look at it(www.fanions-moins-chers.com).I am confused and I don`t know whether to continue or not. Your advice is so precious to me.
Thank you so much for your sincerity and kindness.
Te salut,
Daniela
Keep up the good work..
1) Do you have a website yet?
Yes
2) Why did you subscribe to my newsletter?
I learn something every time I visit 2create.
3) What would you like to learn more about? Please be specific.
Transitioning from creating content to monetizing. Also, how to effectively use youtube to create traffic.
4) What is your biggest challenge right now? (if any)
Creating more Traffic.
I appreciate all the info that i’ve recieved from your different blogs and videos.I am still very new at this…therefore i might be trying to do too many things too quickly….would appreciate any advice that you give in that regard.
TY
Hi Lisa and thanks for your email. I have two websites, http://www.owning-a-giant-dog.com and http://www.gentle-newfoundland-dogs.com both built and published through Site Build It!
I subscribed to your newsletter because you always give out useful and genuine information, no BS.
I want, obviously, to get more traffic to my sites without spending any money as I am always short of that!
My biggest challenge at this precise moment is summoning up the enthusiasm to complete my newfoundland site. I want to do it, just haven’t had much time.
Hi Margaret, I have always appreciated your support both here and on my forum WB. Thanks for taking the time to leave me some feedback.
No site yet, been working on it for about a year just can’t launch because its for a business I’m starting and haven’t got all the finances together yet but hopefully in the next 3-6 months should be good to go. I subscribed to your letters because lots of great info on your site and I like to support the sites that I frequently visit for info. I’ve learned lots from you. Ive been studding webdesign through lynda.com for the last 3 years and learned lots but nothing on the marketing or monetizing websites there. That’s where I found you and I cant thank you enough for all the great fee info and knowledge!!!
The biggest challenge for me is js and php. Just a though why not have a section on your site for free scripts kinda of like the dynamicdrive.com site. Im shure your visitors would rather get their stuff from you than some site they dont’t know.
Keep up the good work!!
Lisa ,
I was wondering what happened to you . Glad to hear all is well , I look forward to your new ebook . I have a couple questions . Have you heard of the empower network? , looks like its from the makers of carbon copy pro and magnetic sponsoring . And , Can you recommend a paperback on the subject of making money online ? I’ve seen some titles on Amazon like “Get rich click ” and wanted to get your recommendation on the subject .
Thank you .
Hi L.B.
I have never been interested in those network marketing programs because they are always so vague. I’d rather just build my own branded niche site and learn how to make money through affiliate marketing, ad sales, etc. I’m sure some of those programs are fine, but many of them are get-rich-quick hype. Stay tuned because my book is coming out soon!
Hello Lisa & L.B.,
In response to the MLM, a.k.a. multi-level, a.k.a. direct selling businesses. I have been in MLM for about 10 yrs now 5 in one business and 5 in another. I am here to say there is NO get rich quick! I have also learned that 8 out of ten start up businesses fail within 1 year. Now, having said that, businesses sell things, material or a service. But, must offer something in return for payment. Otherwise, it’s not a business, it’s a scheme or scam. When a person starts in MLM or any business, to have the best chance of success, you must have a product or service that is stand alone. One that anyone that wants it MUST come to you and can’t just go to any mediocre department store and pick up for a couple of bucks. Once you have found that, then you must work hard to show it and let every one know it’s importance.
Now to compensation with MLM. The MLM company must have a compensation plan that is not just good, but great! and all this must be easy to duplicate. So finding a good multi-level company is not an easy task. However, good honest multi-level companies are out there.
The other thing is the person MUST believe in him or her self or the business WILL fail. This goes with all businesses.
Thanks for reading my babble……
Allan
Dear Lisa,
Thank you very much for your kind e-mail, – it is highly appreciated.
I think for me the biggest question is how to develop a strategie to get people in contact with my Artwork and Poetry on my sites.
Happy Holidays,
Warmth,
jan.
Hi Lisa!
Wow wow WoW!! I just received your apology mail, and lemme tell you, there is absolutely nothing to apologize for!
I am so excited, I don’t even know where to begin! I have just started an ebooktutorials website (still under development and not active yet) and your free ebook give-away to your subscribers is just what I was looking for! I have been looking for good quality and informative books to promote on my site, and judging by what I’ve seen from you, you’ll be featured on the site, my gift to you for your helpful assistance.
I am also just starting out writing my own ebooks, currently on page 24 (just over 9000 words), and I plan to write many more in future and showcase them from my website and other channels. It won’t be like your with over 70 pages though, as this is my very first one, but I’m sure with your guidance and help in future I’ll get there soon enough! 🙂
Your freebee comes just at the right time, should be done with my site by the time you launch it, can’t wait!
Thanks again Lisa, and happy holidays to all you guys and hold on tight, 2012 is gonna be huge!!
P.S. For newbies without websites yet, Reast Hosting™ is currently running a special on our UNLIMITED Resources cloud hosting account! 🙂
Hi Lisa,
1. No Website
2. Found you on YouTube and found you very easy to understand and explain things so even I can understand. (I’m 56 and just starting all of this Blog/Website stuff)
3. Learn more about how to keep fresh material in a blog, then how to get traffic to see it.
4. Biggest challenge is to just get started, I’ve run the gamut of signing up for “free” stuff with no actual direction. I have already made progress reading your stuff and watching on YouTube.
I Really appreciate how you do things and hope to continue learning from you! Great Job !
trying to get help from u. cos i just fininsh reading ur book.
