I’m trying something new to ensure I get to know more about you and what you need. After all, the more I know, the more I can help and target my content toward you.
You took the time to subscribe to my list, so the least I can do is get to know more about you and why you’re here.
However, please understand that I will not be able to answer everyone directly. I will be using your feedback here to publish better content and videos for you in the future.
In fact, I have revamped my FAQs with answers to common questions, so please check those out.
Now, I’d appreciate it if you’d take a few moments to tell me more about yourself and what you’d like to learn. Here are some starter questions to get you going, but feel free to add whatever information you’d like.
1) Do you have a website yet?
2) Why did you subscribe to my newsletter?
3) What would you like to learn more about? Please be specific.
4) What is your biggest challenge right now? (if any)

Thanks to everyone who has submitted feedback thus far. It has been invaluable and helped me write my new book, Niche Website Success — which is a guide that teaches you how to build a website and make money with affiliate marketing, AdSense, and more.
Hi Lisa,
I’d like to say Thanks for your help and I LOVE your site !!
What I would like to know is the best way to get traffic to my blog? What are you using to do this? Do you submit your blog to directories? If so, which ones? If not, why not?
The main thing I’m looking to learn is how to get good traffic and make money online(adsense or other sources).
Thank you
Mansi Bharat
till now i’ve not created any site. but i want to be a profenassional in this field so i’m looking for your help…
thank you..
Hi Lisa – many thanks for your help – much appreciated.
No website as yet and I am a newbie. This is the first time I have have ever replied to any website/blog.
I have been reading as much as I can and came across your websites over the last couple of months. The Youtube talks you give I think are very good and most helpful/effective. I live in the UK, work from home and I am able to give time to creating a trickle of income from a web based venture. I appreciate it will take time and effort and that this is a business which has to be built up over time. I am leaning towards an Adsense site and also creating ebooks but I am open to suggestions.
My biggest challenges at the moment are: finding my first niche and trying to get a UK perspective on all the information on the web.
Regards
Rob

Hi, Lisa!
I’m in the process of building our website – my first. I discovered you at myfreetraining.net where I read a great review written about your site by Mike G. Went to the site, downloaded your ebook, read it and loved it! I subscribed to your newsletter because I am a newbie at building sites and you have real, helpful content in your book, sites, blog & YouTube videos. I want to learn more about site security, SEO and how to drive quality traffic to my site. My biggest concern so far is that my sister, Justina, has this idea in her head that all I have to do is throw up a website and people will come and buy. She thinks we’ll start making money the day we go live and it is a little difficult trying to explain to her that ‘it don’t work that way!’
Hi Carole,
Stay tuned because I have a free book coming out that will address exactly what you want to learn. You’re already a subscriber so you’ll get it for free!! 🙂
I have a website, but I’m in need of knowing how to exactly post links to google on it, be an affiliate marketer, and make atleast 10 times the $300/week I’m making now. HELP, please! I hunger and thirst for success in the internet business industry. I’m tired of working for someone else and being under-appreciated and never recognized for the 160% worth of effort that I put into my performance at work.
Candiss, I hear ya. My free book coming to my subscribers only will address your questions and show you how to make money as I have done with affiliate marketing, niche websites, etc.
Hi Lisa,
* Do I have a website?
YES
* Why did I subscribe to your newsletter?
To find out in detail all the steps you are taking to succeed online.
* What would I like to learn more about?
Driving quality traffic to a website.
* What is your biggest challenge right now? (if any)
My biggest challenge is actually finding a specific niche and just sticking with it and focusing on it without being distracted by too many things. I feel overwhelmed with it all. I know how to set it all up very well, ad the adsense code, optin form etc. but just can’t really think exactly HOW to find what I’m good at. i know it sounds sill because I should know right? But maybe it’s a focus thing Lisa.
Hi Lisa,
Thanks a lot for concern helping others, Yeah I want to learn how to develope my website as I have plenty of spare time perhaps I can convert it into financial assistance thru internet.

3. Please check if you can see the website mentioned above (http://yournaturalhealthcare.blogspot.com/) to see what is still need to be done. I want to learn about html code. What are other software needed to make a good website.
4. The biggest challenge for me right now is how to develope my website to acquire the approval of adsense.
Regards,

Hi Lisa, first let me say im not a computor whiz nor do i spend a lot of time on it. i know thats about to change. from what i gathered from what i read on one of your sites is, you must have be specific and have a passion about what you want to put on your site. Dont want to be long winded but a little about me might help. i love sports as most men do. I grew up in a concrete jungle., Manhattan in NewYork and the biggest sport there was basketball. I played that game from age 7 to 41. i played for my JHS, HS and Community College. I have a passion about how to play the game, prepare for it, and down to what type of shoe to wear. So I guess you can say I have atleast one passion. Im very eager to get started, I have a lot to offer and hope to see you in the winners circle.

I have no website… I really want to have one though, but i have no idea how to create one…basically what im looking for is something similar to a journal. A page where i can write a story of my life… But how ???
i dont have website yet but love ur website and want to make a website like ur one day.
I would like to make money online .
1. No website yet but it is in the works; have the domain name, am *strongly* considering SiteBuilder to get it “live”.
2. I subscribed to your newsletter because I am tremendously impressed with the quality of your web presence, as well as with the quality of your information. I want my site to be as effective and credible.
3. I want information on producing a quality site, as well as on monetizing that site efficiently. My goal is to live well on the income from my site and my creative works.
4.My biggest challenge right now is the technical aspect of creating/maintaining/monetizing my site; I am passionate about the content for my site and I write well, so those bits are a cinch.
I have had a website in the past for a previous business. up until now I discounted websites for my handyman business because my information came up on the first page of Google without one. When Google changed I became invisible, or on the third or fourth page. I’m a life long entrepreneur, and know the internet generation Googles everything as I do. I really want to be in control of my website, as others are not dependable. I currently started a site with website tonight, and am wondering if that is the right way to go. I realize you have put in a lot of effort to get to where your at as all things take time and dedication. I would just like step by step guidance to go forward. My primary goal is to get back on the first page of Google with my handyman business then I
would like to pursue selling my book, How To Fail and Why Most Will. I was contemplating going back to college for website design but think that might be a very slow way to go. I don’t mind paying anyone for information, I just don’t want to pay for junk. You seem very credible in your videos, and I hope you can help. You also have a positive energy that I pay a lot of attention to. Have a great New Year, and Thank You for you time.

Hi, Lisa:
For 2012, I will be launching a software training business. I have Adobe Design Premium CS4 … however, think I may need to purchase Captivate to show better screen shots … and/or create videos that seamlessly move from my mugshot of me speaking to the actual screen shots that are clear and full-size. Is that true?
Not sure where to begin with that … as you know, I have purchased an Adobe suite of products already.
Kudos to you for your approach to teaching, and I concur. I have worked for a two Major League Baseball teams AND a celebrity; however, nothing brought tears to my eyes like the reactions of my online students when I offered free webinars to make quota in my previous software sales job.
Michelle
Hi, Lisa this is Michael. this is my first time trying to start an online business. I had no investments, didn’t know much about it. My dad got sick and has been on disability. My brother has gotten down as well and he is trying to get disability. The only two people that are bring income in are me and my mom. So with no Knowledge of how online business works, i went in crediting for all kinds of software to make money not knowing that they required me needing a website. So I finally got up the money to build a site which is the one i type in above. Google ad sense has not approved it yet. But when I came across Your videos on youtube and how you were talking about traffic and content, I wish a would have waited. So after saying that, I could really use some help on how to increase traffic to my site, how to have great content please. “Thank You So Very much”.
Michael, I read your post and want to wish you good luck. Blessings, Kelly
Thank you Kelly. I pray that you have a prosperous online business. I really appreciate it.
Hi Lisa,
I actually welcome this opportunity to give you feedback. I’ve had your tips, videos from youtube, and thoughts of your success stuck in the back (more like front) of my mind for days.
It’s kind of funny when I think about it now, how I had no idea how hard it would be to try and sell jewelry online through an Etsy shop. First of all, i didn’t know just how many other people were doing the exact same, and I certainly had no idea how much online advertising, and making an online presence would come into play.
I’ve been at it for 5 months, which isn’t long, and in truth, i don’t mind all the work I’ve had to do, so much. What I do mind, is that my best often seems like it’s not enough – at least not yet. And what I mind, is that I have only gotten one sale since I opened shop.
I’ve done much in dealing with google keyword tool, in trying to figure out good tags for my jewelry listings. It took me a while, but I got a facebook fanpage together that I felt would be professional enough, and I sent out a very sincere, and kind invite to facebook friends, and not by one simple post or a mass “check box” invite either. I sent out carefully worded, personal invitations to groupings of 5 or so people each. I started my blog 2 days ago, fusion geek, figuring i’d randomly fuse different types of info, and post, while plugging my jewelry shop here and there.
This is a spill, i know… but I guess it sums up what my biggest challenge is. I’m exhausted facing the challenge, for sure, though no fear, i’ll keep trying. I know I’ll sleep tonight, wake up fresh tomorrow, and drill the pavement again (so to speak), like I have been doing day after day.
So, this is why, i’m here, ready for all the knowledge and tips I can get, pretty much, even though my brain seems so fried already.
I’m also planing on starting youtube videos soon – trying to figure out how to make videos recording my computer screen, as I’m not ready to put my face in front of a camera for video to post, just yet. But, I’ll get there too, eventually.
Thanks for reading Lisa. I’m happy for your success, truly.
But Lisa, I do want you to know, that I am so grateful for your sincerity of heart, and how you are reaching out to help so many people in a very real way.
I will continue to keep my eyes, and ears open to what you have to say, and work to succeed at my grind.
Hello Lissa!!! I have started building a website as i am interested in these things. You are awesome!!!! all your tips were more useful then any other i have read or seen. There is one important thing i really need to know. I wanna build a website/blog regarding tips and tweaks of technology(with a bought domain and hosting). But i don’t know which platform i should choose: WordPress or something else. I really want to make money and am aware that WordPress is very good for SEO. But i recently found that WordPress doesn’t allow Google ads. Its has something of its own that is only available to websites with the highest popularity. Could you please tell me which platform you used for this website and which i should use for Adsense. Another thing is about Artisteer. I know that its the best theme generator for WordPress. But is it good for SEO and should i use it? Please visit my current website and advice me on what i should improve on. I am 15 and am very inspired by your advices. I have read your starter guide for websites and its awesome. Thank you for every thing you have done. Its just that if you updated your site more often it would me much more awesome. Please reply as soon as you can. Thank You.
1) Hi Lisa, may I begin by telling you that you are amazing. Thanks for the very valuable information that you have provided via your website. I do not have a website yet. I am actually counting on my Ad Sense account to accumulate enough money for me to start one. I do however, have a blog site, http://www.audfullyyours.blogspot.com. I created this blog to start a more powerful network of Doctor of Audiology students such as myself. This is my first blog and I could really use help in increasing traffic, but at a cheap cost.
2) The information that you provided in your YouTube videos and postings was invaluable. I could not pass an opportunity to learn more.
3) I would like to learn more about creating unique content and driving traffic to my blog. I would also like to learn more about how to earn income from a blog, if possible. You mentioned in one of your videos that I should view Ad Sense as a bonus income. So, I would greatly appreciate if you would share with me tips on making money without Ad Sense.
4) My biggest challenges are increasing my traffic and marketing my blog at a low cost. Currently, I am using facebook to inform friends and professional groups of new posts and updated information on my blog. I have also been considering bimonthly newsletters. What do you think of that?
I really appreciate your time.
~Blessings

Greetings Lisa. I’m not an affiliate marketer but it interests me; however, I do provide an array of services on my site which like all sites requires quality traffic. I trust and respect your work and know that learning from you as well as networking with you is indeed a great opportunity. I hope to eventually build a partnership with you. I will prove myself worthy in time. First I need to learn from you and buy some ad space on your site. Who wouldn’t want to advertise with a business such as yours .. which has a proven track record. It’s obvious that quality traffic comes to your site. In the mean time and between time, I will learn everything I can from you to ensure that I take responsibility and convert that traffic into sales when I do place my banner on your site. Thanks so much for really being so patient and guiding those of us who really need help.

I have been researching Affiliate Marketing which is quite appealing to me, but I just need a site (with very, very low start-up costs), so I can promote products.
I also need to know how to find the best Affiliate products to promote.
Thanks for your insight.
No web site as yet Lisa that is why I’m here today, I’m looking for a sustainable way to make an income that grows and allows me to not need a regular job. I face retirement in a few years and I’d still like to keep working but not in an ordinary job
Also I live in China and would like to return home to New Zealand soon but getting work there is difficult at my age so again financial independence. Living here also makes Facebook Twitter and You Tube unavailable.
I have lost money to the guru’s already on line, but have a plan I just need to understand how to create a working website and just how it all fits together. You seem to have it all worked out so any help would be much appreciated

1) Do you have a website yet? No. My question is…What are the pros and cons between a blog and a website? I am a writer. I am feeling overwhelmed and I am not sure which direction to take.
2) Why did you subscribe to my newsletter? I really liked what I saw on your site. It feels 100% honest and I appreciate your honesty.
3) What would you like to learn more about? Please be specific. How to make either a website or blog to promote and sell my writing.
4) What is your biggest challenge right now? (if any) Just getting started. What is my first step?
Thanks for your time. I’ve read through your comments and I feel that I’ve come to a good place. I look forward to working with you. Gina
Hi gina,
I think a blog would be more suitable to you. Being a writer requires a relatively high posting frequency in different topics. The comments you receive from your audience should represent valuable feedback. However, if you are the person who prefers to write very long and sophisticated articles that require a long time to produce, you may then resort to a static website. This point of view is more intuitive than technical. I would certainly appreciate any informative discussion or elaboration about it.
Hi Osama, Thanks for your insight and valuable tips. I just started setting up a blog on wordpress.com a couple of days ago. A little bit slow going, but I am confident that once I learn how to navigate in wordpress I’ll be able to find a rhythm to blogging. Stay tuned.
On another note. Thanks Lisa for supplying your readers a forum for discussion.
Lisa, thanks for your kind mail. am really learning and getting tips from your site. thanks! Looking forward to your book. thanks and happy holiday and great 2012!!!!!
i have always loved to create a social and Educational site for students. I am a student of 18 years old.
1.) I’ve tried making websites on places like Weebly and Blogger but they just don’t give me the workability I need. I would like to make one using WordPress but I don’t have the money yet to be able to provide myself a host, etc.
2.) Because your advice, even on your YouTube videos, is wonderful and helpful. You teach amazingly and I am able to follow your explanations with ease.
3.) How to make a website and blogging. I would also like to learn about site layout and design. As for making money, traffic and promotion, I think that’s just an added bonus to learning.
4.) Getting started and staying on track.

Hi Lisa,
I am a 3rd year marketing student at Africa University Zimbabwe, who wish to know how to create a website in order for me make a good contribution to wherever i may find myself working depending on the position i will hold.
If you could give me the best knowledge of a beginner i will really appreciate.
Thank you.
1. No, I don’t have a website yet.
2. I need your knowledge in order to make my dream of having my own website a reality.
3. How to protect my creation from web “sharks”.
4. The biggest challenge i face now is choosing a trust worthy webhost and website building-should i take the time to learn and build my own or should i pay and have someone create my idea.
