Another Genesis WordPress Theme Giveaway – Enter Today!

Contest is over. Congratulations Anant! You’re the lucky winner. I will be emailing you to get your theme selection. 🙂 Thanks everyone for entering. 🙂 Contest is closed.

Genesis Framework for WordPressThe last Genesis theme giveaway went over so well I thought I’d have one again.

Plus, these kinds of posts are convenient to write when you’re taking a break for the Holidays.

So it’s a win-win for you and me. 🙂

How to Enter & Win

Entering is just as easy as last time.  Just reply to the question below (email subscribers enter here) and you will have a chance to win the Genesis framework and a child theme of your choice! (An $80 value).

Since the year is coming to a close and 2013 is only hours away, I figured I’d make the question related to your goals for 2013.

Tell me one thing you will do to promote your site next year that is different from what you are doing now?  Or name one strategy you will implement to take your site to the next level?

I will use Random.org to choose a number. The comment number that corresponds to what I draw will be declared the winner. Be sure your email is correct (won’t be displayed) so I can send you the theme files if you win.

Contest ends Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:59pm CT. Good luck and happy new year!

Rules & Terms

  • No purchase necessary to enter or win (I will purchase the theme for the winner)
  • Only one entry per person (additional entries will be deleted and I will be checking emails and IP’s)
  • One winner will be chosen using Random.org
  • Contest ends Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:59pm CT
  • Entries that don’t follow the rules and requirements will be voided/removed

For this year, I will be active on forum because not only I’ll be helping people to solve their problem but I will make new friends at the same time. I like the idea of being apart of the community so being active in forum is something that I should start doing. I always put off the idea of getting involved in the forum because it looks like it’s time consuming but now I already put aside my time to engage with people in the forum.

Hi Lisa, thanks for the opportunity! This year my wife and I are working as a team to take our blog to the next level. That in itself is something wonderful right?! She has been writing a lot during the past few months and I see 2013 will be such an awesome year!

We are also writing our own book, and we are launching our own membership site before the end of January 2013. We are also going to integrate a forum in our blog, we are just looking for moderators. Lastly, we will open our blog to guest postings/regular contributors or even hire writers so we can provide more content consistently to our subscribers.

    Happy New Year!!!

Hi Lisa, I’m currently teaching myself the in’s and out’s of YouTube. Meaning, I’m learning how to keep people’s attention, how to edit video properly, etc. I want to make videos that people will want to watch more than once! YouTube is my biggest feat this new year. I’m hoping to launch my first video in two weeks!

    Awesome, another giveaway! 🙂

One of the many things that I’ll be focusing on to grow my blog is starting to make videos on YouTube. In fact, I’ll be posting my first YT video today announcing the launch of it. I know I’m going to have a great time with YT and I’m totally excited to get started.

I’ll also be doing giveaways such as this via my YT channel which I’m sure combined will create some killer traffic and increase engagement on my blog.

Thanks Lisa for hosting another cool giveaway!

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Lisa, this is brilliant, because I will learn and gain new ideas from reading everyone’s answers, which is the goal of 2createawebsite for your readers! — My goal for 2013 is to create a mailing list. I do this religiously for my web design clients, but I don’t do it for my own personal blog. I know, I know, shame on me. In addition to creating a mailing list, I want to e-mail my subscribers on a regular basis, no less than once a month. Happy New Year!

Hello Lisa…. thanks a bunch first of all for this wonderful chance… 🙂
For me, I would work more on the social media space for promoting my soon-to-be-site and my posts… Lisa cemented it for me when she say a few post back that while “content is definitely king, relationship is the queen…” And I agree with her more than 100%…. So I’ll make the e social media space a priority more than SEO or other well known techniques… 🙂

Hello Lisa! My goal for this next year is a site dedicated to a specific programming game I am making for the market I know wants it 🙂 My strategy is to buy the domain name, setup the website with WordPress, start sharing my progress and getting people involved, and then eventually release it. I’ve seen others succeed with this and it is very niche – gamers for the PC and Tablet who like rogue-like RPG’s 🙂

    Hi Lisa,

    Happy New Year!

Great contest idea. I would love to join for the sake too of improving and focusing more on my business goals for 2013.

Here’s the one thing that I will do this year that I haven’t done in the past few years.

Create Great Content using long tail keywords then repurpose that content into Video, Audio, Mp3, and Ebook. I will be creating more short reports that consists of 7-20 pages and this will be actionable reports with real results from my case studies.

And of course outsource more repetitive tasks, because that’s the problem with me, I tend to try to do everything. 🙂

    Have a wonderful new year!
