Nice website Lisa, its good to see a relatively new website actually have a completed feel to it. Although the content kind of talked around topics more than about them. Nonetheless I admire someone so young having such an enterprising, entrepreneurial spirit. I’m excited to see where this site goes, to really get somewhere on this topic I think Kirk will need some really juicy and engaging content.

On your review, I think it was spot on and there were some very good tips in your review.

Very solid review. I really enjoyed your tips… especially about the “Subscribe”. I would have never thought of that but it makes sense!

Another great site review, from embedding video to mailing list placement to ‘get’ vs ‘subscribe’, all great points. I will definitely incorporate a few of your comments on my site…thanks!

Hi Lisa:
What an informative review for ExtremeWealthGuide.com. While I don’t have much of an interest in visiting that website (far too saturated) I got a lot out of your review and implemented one of your two of your suggestions into my WordPress blog (linked to my ID). I changed my “subscribe to a reader” to “Get RSS Blog Updates”

I plan to use video in my new SBI website that I’m creating (I bought through you to make sure you get the commission!) and I look to your Flat stomach site as a model of success to follow.

One more thing, I plan to change my Wordpress theme to Thesis, as it looks like it’s working quite well. One of the reasons I went with SBI is because of all the hair pulling I do over Wordpress glitches. I have zero patience for technology snafus. I want to produce content and make a beautiful, informative website!!!

I emailed Lisa to thank her for doing a review on my site, and I decided to let you know what I learned about building ExtremeWealtHGuide.com

First I want to tell everyone who is wanting to build a website and make some money, is do not do the “make money” niche. It is extremely hard and competitive.

I published EWG before I read a post from Lisa about how people should stay away from the make money niche. I wasn’t sure what she meant by that, but I do now! It is very hard to get traffic to your site, and it is a VERY competitive niche to be in.

Even though I am now getting a good amount of traffic to EWG, I decided to start a new website up, about a niche that was not over saturated, and I got first page google rankings within the first week or two. My new site is still small, but about 25 of my pages are on the first page of google.

I know Lisa has talked about how to stay away from the make money niche before, but I just wanted to share my first hand experiences with you.

Thanks!!

Great review! I continually take away wonderful nuggets from your reviews and posts. It never dawned on me that the word “subscribe” had such a negative connotation. I plan to make adjustments to my sites accordingly.

It is amazing that even in a saturated market success is still possible.
