Hi Lisa, I’m a huge fan of Kiesha’s blog and recently became a sponsor for a contest she held. It’s amazing how she keeps coming up with such fantastic blog posts and catchy titles. I’m glad you featured her in this case study.
Thank you!

I watched the video on your YouTube channel, but only came across the post relating to it just now. I love the site and how it is run. I’m addicted to both this site and WeBlogBetter!

Wonderful study, I’m so glad to know Kiesha from another perspective and this has given me even more respect and appreciation for all she does.
And, you Lisa, as well … this study is so enlightening. If it wasn’t for knowing Lisa, I wouldn’t have come to your site (today). Look at how much I would have missed. My blog is a simple personal one and I’m not sure if that’s considered a “niche” and how using these tips can garner readers, but I’m trying! I think I’m pretty good with the Social Media practice. Gotta start somewhere.
Thank you, both!

I was not able to see the video, because I am on very slow connection now, but from the comment I know the theme might be focus and also because I have been to weblogbetter before, I know how excellent, the blog owner is and the way the design is different from most blogs.

Hi Lisa and Kiesha,
Firstly, congratulations Kiesha. Outstanding work. You’ve done an amazing job to almost quadruple the traffic in such a short space of time.
Thanks for the great case study, Lisa. I learned a few things that will help me improve my own blog. Also, this is actually my first time on your blog.

Nice case study, Lisa; I enjoyed it – and I’m happy to be reminded of how enjoyable Kiesha’s blog is. I entered one of her guest posting contests a while back but somehow forgot to subscribe to her feed! Oversight corrected. 🙂
Kiesha @ We Blog Better says
Hi Laura!
I remember your guest post! You’ve got one day left to enter the current contest, if you’re interested! 🙂
Laura @ affiliate marketing for beginners says
Thanks, Kiesha! I considered it but I’m just too short on time right now. I will keep my eyes open for your next one for sure, though!

This is my first visit to your site, via the theinfopreneur forum (Kiesha) and I’m already learning that I try to stretch myself too thin. Although, I have begun to stick to only twitter and one forum to interact with bloggers. Thus far, it’s worked wonders. Love the video and the site.
Josh Garcia says
Hi Lisa,
Nice job with this case study. I visit WeBlogBetter on weekdays. Kiesha has done an awesome job with it. Congrats Kiesha!

Hi Lisa, Kiesha is an awesome person and mother as well as a great blogger. She’s really focused and very gracious. I was lucky to get a guest post in on her site – which continues to send me traffic. The other day I mentioned to her that she blogs in her sleep and we had a good laugh. I know she’s grinning from ear to ear based on your case study. Go Kiesha!
Kiesha @ We Blog Better says
Hi Ileane!
How did you guess? (grinning from ear to ear) You are too kind – thank you for your many compliments. Your guest post was the bomb that’s it’s still receiving comments, months later! 🙂
Kissie says
Hey Miss B, did I miss that guest post?!!

Hi John!
Thank you for your kind words! I can’t take the credit for the design – it was designed by Brandon Cox of EgraceCreative.com – the former owner – He did an amazing job!

Excellent post! Kiesha really has blown me away with how she’s taken weblogbetter.com to the next level. I read a ton of blogs every day and hers is one of my favorites by far. I could not have turned it over to more capable hands!! Nice feature!

I love Case studies because they give you such an inspiration and a big morale booster.
Kiesha, I just started to read your blog about three weeks ago and I love it.
Fred Miller says
You have stressed several times the importance of focus– how common it is to try to do too much when you’re just starting out. I felt that urge again when this video was over. I wanted more, but I realized I have to wait a few days for your next post. The fact is I will spend the next week just trying to absorb the knowledge in these seven and a half minutes. Thank you!
Curtis says
Congrats Kiesha and thank you Lisa for the analysis. I wrote down some good notes from your comments about Kiesha’s blog. I’ve been watching your videos on YouTube for a while now and want to thank you for those as well. My blog is only about 3 months old and I started it with ZERO blogging knowledge or experience. It’s been a blog about making the blog as I learned how to blog 🙂
Kharim says
WeBlogBetter.com is a really great blog 🙂 Congrats Kiesha
Kiesha @ We Blog Better says
Thank you for sharing my blog with your readers! I’m truly grateful and honored. I admire your continued dedication to help others! Words can’t express how much you’ve warmed my heart.
Thanks again!

Nice video Lisa but I was more interested in knowing was the traffic turning into sales for her…given she has a masters in english and can do various professional writing jobs for her visitors? I didn’t notice google ads…so I’m assuming that’s where her income comes from? What’s her conversion for writing jobs? Thanks.
Kiesha @ We Blog Better says
Hi Jim,
That’s a good question! Actually most of my income comes from consulting with and writing for small business owners. Then there’s affiliate sales and the new ebook I’ve recently released.
I don’t have Adsense on WeBlogBetter, but I do have a few on my Christian Blog.
