I’m relaunching my blog after 4 years in jan. I’ve begun mktg by engaging folks via twitter and fb but for the launch I will add pinterest and an email newsletter to my mktg strategy

In 2013 I am planning to design, make and distribute t-shirts with my blog’s logo and tag line.
In the next year, I am going to target towards my audience more as I experienced this year with ups and downs both from my audience as well as from google seo optimization.
I am planning to place ads on autorickshaws. It is just going to cost me 42 per month per rickshaw. Hope it works.

Great contest idea. I would love to join for the sake too of improving and focusing more on my business goals for 2013.
Here’s the one thing that I will do this year that I haven’t done in the past few years.
Create Great Content using long tail keywords then repurpose that content into Video, Audio, Mp3, and Ebook. I will be creating more short reports that consists of 7-20 pages and this will be actionable reports with real results from my case studies.
And of course outsource more repetitive tasks, because that’s the problem with me, I tend to try to do everything.

One strategy I will implement in 2013 to take my site to the next level is to create an ebook to offer free in order to build my list. I also plan to post more often and create a content calendar to make creating new content a little less challenging.
Hello Lisa! My goal for this next year is a site dedicated to a specific programming game I am making for the market I know wants it
My strategy is to buy the domain name, setup the website with WordPress, start sharing my progress and getting people involved, and then eventually release it. I’ve seen others succeed with this and it is very niche – gamers for the PC and Tablet who like rogue-like RPG’s 
I plan to go over all of my old content, make sure it’s optimized with meta tags, alt text, and keywords, fix broken links and in general update the material that is still relevant.
In order to increase my sites visibility I plan to do the following:
1) Read other blogs and comment.
2) Step away from Facebook and Google Adwords and go back to traditional forms of direct marketing through flyers and newsletters.
3) Meeting people by going to tradeshows, conferences and gatherings where I might find my target audience.

Great contest, Lisa! One thing I’m going to start giving more attention to is YouTube. I have only a few videos up and have not used it to its full potential. It’s one of the methods of promotion that can apply to ANY site.
I will be using a tried and true but old fashioned method to get more clients for my web site design service. I will be sending out printed mailers and other materials to selected perspective clients.

We are also writing our own book, and we are launching our own membership site before the end of January 2013. We are also going to integrate a forum in our blog, we are just looking for moderators. Lastly, we will open our blog to guest postings/regular contributors or even hire writers so we can provide more content consistently to our subscribers.

For this year, I will be active on forum because not only I’ll be helping people to solve their problem but I will make new friends at the same time. This year, I’m going to finally start doing some guest blogging, which I’ve been putting off for months now. I want to use social media more, which sounds easy, but is actually very hard for me. I simple do not enjoy it. I’ve decided to try to focus on Google Plus and Pinterest, since I like them best. I don’t think they’re necessarily best for getting traffic though, but I just can’t be bothered with Facebook.
This year I plan to stop reading so many blogs and “Just Do It!” I already have over 30 pages of content, which is more than enough to get going, but I keep analyzing – should I do it the way this one does or that one does – should I follow this advice or that advice. So I’ve decided to “follow myself” and Just Do It.
This is an awesome opportunity, thanks! I plan to launch a forum spinning off of my main site. I get lots of back and forth comments in the comment section, and the engagement really draws repeat visitors. So, I figure it’s time to create a forum specifically for discussion around the site’s main topic.
I think community is really going to be necessary following the changes Google has made targeting niche sites.
In 2013, I plan on promoting my site using YouTube. I believe I can get the most exposure using YouTube and it seems to be the place where my target audience is. I have been skeptical in the past to use it just because of my fear of what I “look like” in front of the camera. However, I’ve learned that what I look like isn’t what’s important. The important thing is getting quality, up to date, information to my readers.
I would try as much as I can to comment on blogs. I think this is one area I don’t have time doing. And also I would want to promote my blog in bookmarking sites. I get alot of traffic from them especially stumbleupon.

I am going to emphasize more on Youtube, in order to bring traffic to my blog and to complement my articles. Personally, I think that this is the future, at least in my niche.
I will print business card and T shirts . I will give these T shirts to my friends for free . I will print my blog name and logo on T shirt also with great design or message , so they don’t feel awkward to wear that T shirts in college. I am college student and my college has more than 1500 students. So I think this idea will work for me .
